ABOUT ME.

 

 

With years of experience in film and media, I am a video editor and producer specializing in documentaries and entertainment. I am pursuing my MA in Mass Communication at the University of Florida while working as a contract Video Editor at Variety, a Teaching Assistant at UF, and serving the not-for-profit space through my role at Film Florida.

At Variety, I have worked on various projects, from editing the red-carpet coverage of the Cannes Film Festival to coordinating the post-production for the Cannes Lions 2023 interview lab and the award-winning Actors on Actors series. I have also produced and edited content for DLP Capital, a real-estate finance company, and CycleHere Media, a travel video production company. In addition, I have won a Telly Award and been a Student Academy Award Semi-Finalist for my documentary Unfit to Stand, which explores the realities of those who have mental illness in the criminal justice system and a profile of the families who tragically fell victim to that system. 

I am proficient in editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Adobe After Effects. I have a keen eye for detail and pacing. I am also highly skilled in live stream management, having served as a technical director for several events and productions. I bring a passion for storytelling to every project. I am adept at working with clients and collaborators to bring their vision to the screen while providing creative input and suggestions.

When I am not working on a video project, you can find me kayaking along one of Florida's many great waterways, thrifting with friends, or painting the next masterpiece. *  

* A masterpiece as defined by the lovely paint-by-numbers sets I find at Target.
