I am passionate about using this medium to build empathy and a deeper understanding of human nature. I am pursuing my MA in Mass Communications at the University of Florida. I currently service multiple clients, including Variety Magazine and Film Florida. My passion for this industry has allowed me to gain experience in nearly every aspect of production, and I currently specialize in post-production. While attending Flagler College for my Undergraduate degree, I produced and edited an award-winning documentary film, Unfit to Stand. The film's impact cemented the powerful tool that film/entertainment can be, and I am consistently looking to bring a high level of craftsmanship to every project.
I am very active in organizing and planning Film Festivals in Florida. There is nothing like creative minds gathering to enjoy current films and prepare for the next big blockbuster. My love for the film industry has taken me abroad, with working experience at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival in the film market. By day, I was assisting Producers in the L.A.-based Film Finance company, Taylor and Dodge. By night, I worked as an Event Intern with Brilliant Consulting to ensure the smooth operations of high-profile after-parties. This opportunity gave me an inside glimpse into the inner workings of the film industry through hands-on experience. I also had the privilege of returning to Cannes in 2021 for the 74th edition of Film Festival coverage with Variety Magazine, where I first worked as a Video Production Intern.
In addition to documentary filmmaking, visual storytelling, and my past festival experience, I have experience in live event production. Past clients include the Flagler County School Board and DLP Capital, where I directed multiple shows. In addition to thriving in fast-paced settings, I possess the technical knowledge to get the job done well.
My second love is traveling. I have been able to work on productions, attend festivals, and connect with others worldwide. I enjoy exploring, tasting new coffee brews, watching films, and kayaking when not working on a project.
